Piloxing™ is an exciting fitness program coming to Elevate Fit Club. This energetic and engaging workout combines the best of Pilates, Boxing and Dance into a high-energy interval workout. Using the most current science, Piloxing™ incorporates formats such as interval and barefoot training to burn maximum calories and increase stamina. In addition to Pilates and Boxing movements, the exercise incorporates the use of weighted gloves, which add to the workout by toning the arms and maximizing cardiovascular health. Piloxing™ uniquely blends the power, speed and agility of boxing with the targeted sculpting and flexibility of Pilates, which combines to provide a muscle-toning workout.

 

 

History:

Piloxing™ is the brainchild of Swedish dance and celebrity trainer Viveca Jensen and represents the culmination of her mission to physically and mentally empower women through fitness. Viveca is a professional dancer, certified International Pilates instructor, body builder, trained boxer, studio owner and personal trainer to the stars. Building on the fundamentals of Pilates, Viveca has resourcefully incorporated her education, training and life experiences into a fitness style that is uniquely her own. Viveca has designed this innovative women’s workout focusing on the mental and physical goal of attaining a “SLEEK, SEXY, and POWERFUL” self-image. Over the past few years, the Piloxing™ program has become an immensely popular fitness craze, attracting devotees worldwide.
